Scary to think but in the past week, I've been in the news a bit. In the past two weeks, 3 articles came out regarding STA Travel SLI, one in USA Today, one on CNN.com, and one in Australia.
Today marked the start of STA's promotional campaign of me. On the virtualstatravel.com, the website which supports my office, a blog introducing me was posted. I was kinda amused by the photo they chose to use of me, some might find it a bit familiar. In addition to that, a press release was put out on a newswire today. I have no idea what that means, but at least 3 services have picked it up, at this point.
Work's pretty good otherwise. My days are spent getting things in order, one of the main focuses this week is getting the dorms finished and open. Once they are open, the island is going to undergo a bit of a change. One for the better, I believe.
This weekend was a nice break from work, I think I only worked about four or five hours. In truth, I really enjoyed being able to get some sleep, I've been working pretty hard during the week so I can't really enjoy stretching my slumber into the 10+ hour range. I'm lucky to get half that during the week.
So, that's about all I've got for now. Still plugging away, every day has its small triumphs, and frustrations. Welcome back to the working world I suppose.
